In the recycling industry, it is essential to separate 100% waste items from recyclable materials. Additionally, many materials, such as glass, require color sorting to improve the efficiency of the recycling process. Elm and Fan Arad manufactures sorting machines for crushed glass and other recyclable items. With this machine, non-glass waste can be separated, and then the glass can be color-sorted.
The machine has a material drop width of 100 centimeters, with a capacity ranging from 5 to 8 tons per hour for product discharge. The machine’s output has two channels for color sorting, and each color needs to be processed twice within the machine.
European equipment has been used in the construction of the machine. It is equipped with color cameras and high-speed ejectors, capable of separating glass pieces ranging from 2 to 30 millimeters.
